2:00 pm - 3:15 pm
The Zonta Clubs of Essex County and Morristown Area invite you to attend an online film event on the last day of Zonta International's 16 Days of Activism: Sunday, December 10, Human Rights Day, from 2:00 pm- 3:15 pm.
The film, “Remember Our Sister”, is about human trafficking. We will view the film and follow up with a discussion.
A little background about the film: it's directed by Hayoung Jo. It takes place in South Korea in the 1980s. There was an army base village built here only for the entertainment of the U.S. soldiers. Hong (13/Girl), who works with her sister here, has fun days. Then one day, Hong comes to think that it is strange little by little. The creation of this film was based on a true story. (Running time is 29 minutes.)
Please join us for this revelatory film.
